Central Illinois Housing Network Fundraiser for Illinois Veterans, Saturday 7/15, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Casper Brewing Company, 3807 Ballybunion, Bloomington, IL 61704, to benefit veterans who need repairs for their homes (including ramps, bathrooms, roofs, and other needs). An outdoor event with live music, we’re selling some soul food: Smoked Rib Tips, BBQ Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Candied Yams, Coleslaw, Apple Crisp. Come out to the southeast side and support a great cause!

Sunday 7/16, 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Keg Grove Brewing Company, 712 E Empire, Bloomington, IL 61701 – we’re so pleased to be back with the good folks at Keg Grove! We’re bringing a lot of tasty soul food to sell: Pork Roast, Fried Chicken, Greens, Candied Yams, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Coleslaw, Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp. We are thrilled to partner with Sunnyside Urban Farm, a wonderful nonprofit, to bring you local produce grown on Bloomington’s westside! From them this week are the greens and rhubarb.

pt.fwd Block Party Concert & Fundraiser, Friday 7/28, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Connie Link Amphitheater, 621 S Linden St, Normal, IL 61761. pt.fwd (pronounced “point forward”) is celebrating their 5th birthday! Their mission: to celebrate the communal experience of coming together to listen to powerful new sonic art. This promises to be a fantastic time! Are you ready to feast while listening to great music? We are selling the following: Sandwich & Side for $10 – Sloppy Joe (beef), Pulled Chicken, Grilled BBQ Veggies (vegan); Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw, Plain Lay’s Potato Chips. Loaded Nachos: $10 Individual Size, $14 Sharing Size – on gluten free chips, top with your choice of Chicken, Sloppy Joe meat, or Grilled Veggies; topped with white nacho cheese and sides of house-made salsa, sour cream, and jalapeno slices. Dessert – $3 per serving: Vegan & Gluten Free Apple Crisp or 2 Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Saturday 7/29, starting at 4:00 PM, Pridefest in downtown Bloomington – we had a blast last year and look forward to again help celebrate pride! Menu pending. Once we get a map of the layout, we’ll let you know exactly where to find us that evening.

We’re back at it! 4:30 PM to 6:30PM Thursday, June 15, we are selling carryout food at the Hudson Farmers’ Market (212 E Franklin, Hudson, IL 61748). We will be selling Sticky BBQ Chicken, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw, and Chocolate Frosted Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake.

Starting at noon, Saturday, June 17, we will be selling carryout food at the Juneteenth Celebration in Miller Park in Bloomington (1020 S Morris Ave). We are excited to return for this celebration! This year we are selling Fried Chicken, Fried Smoked Rib Tips, Cauliflower Wings, French Fries, Coleslaw, Fried Okra, and Chocolate Frosted Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake. The event lasts until 6:00 PM – starting at noon, we will be there until we sell out of food. Come and celebrate with us!

Keg Grove Brewing Company is celebrating their anniversary Saturday, June 3, and we’ll be there! Stop in to grab some brews and eat some tasty A to Z’s soul food. We are selling Smoked Turkey, Pork Roast, Yams, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Greens, Dinner Rolls and Cornbread.

Friday, May 26, come out and support a great cause! Moraine View R&R is a fellowship retreat devoted to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual strengthening through education and therapy, providing resilience to our nation’s veterans.

Their fundraiser Friday, May 26, at Casper Brewing Company (3807 Ballybunion Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704), will feature live music, guest bartenders, and from 5PM to 8PM A to Z’s is selling food. Please stop in and buy some beverages to support Moraine View’s superb not-for-profit organization help give back to those who served!

That evening we are selling some of your favorites: Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken Sandwiches; Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw; and Butterscotch Brownies. Get a Sandwich and a Side for $10. Brownies are $3.
